ABOUT Susan Liesland - tLMHC

I believe everyone deserves a space to feel heard, supported, and more at peace. I work with adults, teens, children, and families navigating anxiety, overwhelm, parenting challenges, and busy, demanding lives.  Using a holistic approach that integrates Person-Centered Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET), and Mindfulness, I provide a supportive space to pause, increase self-awareness, regulate your nervous system, and build coping skills that foster resilience, confidence, and balance.

Reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, especially when you’ve been carrying so much. You are welcomed and valued here. I support individuals and families with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, women’s issues, self-esteem, and behavioral concerns, helping you build tools to feel more grounded, confident, and connected.

I have over 20 years of experience working with children, teens, families, and adults across a variety of settings. I received my Master of Education in School Counseling from Xavier University and completed my Mental Health Counseling endorsement at Drake University. As a practicing counselor, I continue to expand my knowledge of approaches, theories, and treatment methods to provide personalized support that truly fits each client’s life.

I believe therapy works best when rooted in authenticity and human connection. Outside of work, I enjoy time with my husband and five children, Buti yoga, walks, nature, and nurturing my spirituality through my connection with God and the universe. Reach out today to begin your journey toward growth and healing.
